Grants provide assistance for a specific activity, support for a period of time, or for ongoing operations. OAC also offers awards, prizes and scholarships from private funds managed by the Ontario Arts Foundation.

ARCCO is a professional arts service organization for artist-run, not-for-profit centres and collectives for contemporary art in Ontario. This includes centres/collectives for the presentation, production, dissemination, service and investigation of contemporary art in a variety of media and multi-disciplinary work.

The Independent Media Arts Alliance is a non-profit national arts service organization that promotes and advances the interests of a vibrant media arts community. Representing over 80 independent film, video, and new media production, distribution, and exhibition organizations in all parts of Canada, the IMAA serves over 12,000 independent media artists and cultural workers.

Based in Toronto, Canada, the CFMDC was founded in 1967 by a group of visionary filmmakers with the set goal of increasing distribution opportunities, audiences and visibility for artists and independent film. The CFMDC is artist-driven and dedicates itself to distributing films which operate not simply outside of the mainstream, but which are innovative and diverse in their origins and expressions. We believe that works gain historical and cultural value over time and that an evolving body of work by an individual artist is important to preserve.
